The food is exceptional, and the 5 stars is for the food itself. The atmosphere is very lunchtime casual. This a local small restaurant that serves Salvadorian food. The only inconvenience is that they are cash only, so be prepared, no credit or debit cards accepted. But, like I said, the food is well worth it.
Food & price is great. Have improved since last time I went (2013 ish)
Good food and service.
Best Carne Asada I’ve ever had in my experience of eating out!!!The steak is an actual ribeye steak, something that would be hard to find in a steak restaurant! Their food is cooked to order which means it is prepared Fresh and to your liking! The service is fabulous and they focus on the quality of their food! If I could give it 10 stars I would! Find this place and enjoy the best Authentic food you’ll ever have!!!!
Cozy and very welcome place, excellent food and price (just bring $cash$ , that's the only bad thing!!) They should improve it to gain more costumers.
While cruising by Burlington on I-40, my group decided on a pitstop at a non-chain restaurant. Important -- The menu has a Salvadoran style. Our eating experience was wonderful. Good food, one of us even had a vegetarian setup. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff is friendly in spite of our non-Hispanic ethnicities. Be sure to have cash: they do not accept plastic. Highly recommended; tell your friends.
Bad service and takes to long to get orders do not recommend
Was delicious, authentic, and a Hispanic favorite. They also speak English for gringos like me
Friendly staff and great service !! Food is amazing
Wow, homemade Salvadoran pupusas! Had the queso and ayote con queso. So good. The tomato sauce and mild curtido was homemade, as well as the habanero sauce they put out on the table. It's excellent, home cooked food, at a reasonable price. A comfortable, cozy place.
I love their Pupusa’s and Chicken Parmesan !! Friendly service! Large portions!
Try it, you will like it. Good food. Good people.
My girlfriend who is American is in love with this place! She loves the food here! I've been here several times and the food has been great. There is a new owner and the staff seems to be happier, food taste even better than before, and the owner is so friendly! I recommend this place for some great food but also for their Popusas!!
Went there for a second time, the Pupusa's are incredibly delicious. They have a large variety of dishes to choose from as well.
Delicious!!! Definitely worth trip. Don't be in a rush as the tempo is very relaxed and laid back. Food and service is outstanding!
The service was quick and the food was excellent!
Excellant tasting food, friendly service at reasonable prices. I would recommend you give them a try, if you can find a place to sit, it was pretty full the day I was there, and I can understand why.
Food is great, servers are nice, but once they deliver your order they just disappear...But as I said, food is just GREAT!
Great pupusas, excellent service, great food, great people.
Cozy, homey, welcoming atmosphere. GREAT food and fantastic staff. Highly recommended!
Very good food good clean best pollo al la plancha
Great food; very authenticfriendly staff.. Highly recommend.
Good food service could be better
Fried plantains with butter cream ! Great place to visit, delicious homemade food.
Service was great, portions were ample, and we had a tasty meal.
New owners. Thankfully, it seems recipes and techniques were successfully passed on. With almost all new staff, the food was a great as ever. This continues to be my favorite restaurant in Burlington. Bring cash as they don't accept plastic.
The best Papusas I've ever eaten and maduros cooked to perfection. The chicken tamale was really light. Lunch for two with beverage was under $20. Unbelievable!
My server was nice but the food wasn’t the best did not enjoy the rice or beans at all , the horchata wasn’t the best either had to much cinnamon in the bottom. Only thing I did enjoy was the pupusas I would go back for those.
Tasteful food, simple and cozy environment. Only comply with the service, main course was served before the appetizers, but they were very gentle and recognized the mistake.
The food is always made fresh. The service is always fast and friendly. They used to only take cash but now they do accept cards. Don't forget, they're closed on Tuesdays.
I Luke they breakfast the popusas good flavor
After a hard day at work, I decided to stop in at the restaurant to try out the food. Amazing food...I ordered the papusas (chicken/cheese and pork/cheese). Absolutely delicious. Even my picky 5 year old daughter enjoyed it. I also ordered the Yuca con chicharon....OMG...It was absolutely delicious. Quality food...Friendly and amazing staff...Just 10+ stars all the way around. I will definitely be back...
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! There has always been great food here, but now they have new management/owners and the service is AMAZING! Wonderful pupusas and typical El Salvadorean cuisine. If you are ever in the Burlington/ Graham area this is a MUST!
Authentic Salvadoran food! I drive 40 miles to get their pupusas. I have tried different dishes and they are all amazing.
Great food, with great service! The food was made in a timely manner and it was delicious!
Awsome central american food
Great Salvadorian food in town, they only accept cash 💵, and great variety of food. It gets full on weekends and on weekdays they got specials. Now accepting credit cards!
Always great food and great service... Great go to place in Burlington.
Grea tdd food and prices
My server was nice but the food wasn’t the best did not enjoy the rice or beans at all , the horchata wasn’t the best either had to much cinnamon in the bottom. Only thing I did enjoy was the pupusas I would go back for those.
The BEST queso pupusas I've ever had!!
Great salvadorean food!
Great food and great service
True Salvadoran cuisine, and very affordable. The staff treat you like family! Try the papusas!
Good authentic el Salvadorian food.
Had a good day to eat. But a bad day to sit in while they were cutting onions in an open kitchen. 2 people had to leave for 10-15 minutes before finally coming in to eat their food. And I was one of them. Luckily this only happened once... to me.
The food is amazing. Every. Time. And I honestly haven't seen any place that cares as much about the presentation of their dishes either! I am NOT one to take pics of my food to share on social media, but they made me want to! You can see (and taste) that they care about what they serve.
First time trying Salvadorian food ... the chicken had great seasoning and was good with the sauce. My husbands steak was even better and the beans were awesome!
The food is good . It only takes cash.
Excellent service and authentic food.
